Malaysian low-cost airline – AirAsia has conducted a direct flight between Malaysia’s Penang city and Viet Nam’s HCM City.
The direct air route has four weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It departs from HCM City at 1.35 pm (local time) and arrives in Penang at 4.15 pm (local time) and vice versa it departs from Penang at 12.20 (local time) and arrives in HCM City at 1.05 pm (local time).
Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, vice director of the HCM City Department of Tourism, said the event meets the increasing travel demands of peoples from the two countries in the integration process.
On the occasion, AirAsia offers a discount on tickets booked between January 27 and 31.
