02 Day Tour Cuc Phuong National Park & Homestay, starting from your hotel in Hanoi: Cuc Phuong National Park is the oldest national park in Vietnam. Located only 120km south-west of Hanoi and nestled between the provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa, Cuc Phuong boasts an engaging cultural and wildlife heritage and enchanting scenery. Magnificent Limestone Mountains rise up majestically from the green rice-terraces and traditional stilt houses of the Muong hill-tribe. Covered in a dense forest, this landscape forms the habitat for some of Asia’s rarest animal and plant species. It is no wonder that researchers, naturalists, enthusiasts and conservationists alike are drawn to this corner of the world.
Pick you up from your hotel at 8.00am. Transfer to Cuc Phuong national park, riding on a very nice road and passing through spectaculars on routes.
Arrival in Cuc Phuong national park, then we visit to the Primate Rescue Centre, which is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, breeding, research and conservation of the endangered primates of Vietnam. From here we drive further to the centre of the national park where we start our real jungle trek through the national park. A national park ranger will be our on-site guide who makes sure that we do not get lost and he will tell us about the flora and fauna of the park.
Picnic lunch in the shade of a giant tree. After 6-hr trek with lots of descents and ascents on jungle trails we make the last climb downhill to a peaceful valley and reach the village of Khanh, home to Muong ethnic minority.
We will have dinner and spend our night with a family in their traditional house-on-stilt.

After breakfast in homestay, then driving to Tam Coc, where we stop at a local restaurant and start cycling around.
You would be took a ride through villages, lush rice fields and rocky outcrops (rice harvesting time: May and Sep) until lunch at the local restaurant with scenic view over the river.
We take a sampan ride along a river, which is used by farmers to access their paddy fields, an irresistible treat. Just relax and enjoy the sensation of being gently paddled by hand in a little boat, gliding through lotus fields (in summer) into the centre of the “Halong Bay in land”. Lose yourself in this unique experience, along a stretch of blue-green river, and marvel at dancing water refractions under the coolness of passing Tam Coc (three caves).
Upon arrival back in the boat dock, drive to Hoa Lu – Vietnam capital city (968 – 1009) for the King Dinh and Le Temples as well as ancient citadel traces. Finally, leave the area and drive back to Hanoi, trip ends at your hotel around 18h30.
